corporate works

During my corporate journey, I took on a variety of roles, including website design, user experience creation, search engine optimization, and product management, while also mentoring interns. Each role presented unique challenges and required me to adapt my approach to align with company guidelines and objectives.

The portfolio you see here highlights internal projects due to confidentiality agreements with external clients. For external projects, I managed diverse tasks such as dashboards, websites, and promotional materials, working directly with clients to tailor solutions to their needs.

The projects displayed here were primarily shaped by the directives and preferences set by my supervisors. My focus was on implementing their vision accurately, ensuring that each project met their specific criteria and adhered to the company’s standards.

For a glimpse into my external work, you can view a project I developed using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript at Alcea. I also supported various startups, including Incloodo, where I contributed to their design system.

Career Highlights

    • Proficiency in WordPress Development: I quickly became proficient in WordPress, a skill that enhanced my coding abilities. My experience building entire sites from scratch allows me to customize WordPress showcase websites with ease, as demonstrated by the homepage of this website. I can design, build, and launch a full showcase website in a day, complete with SEO optimization, analytics, cookies, and privacy policies, ensuring it’s fully functional, compliant, and search-engine-friendly from the start.
    • Panificio Mobile Project: I developed a site for the Panificio Mobile initiative, an emergency response project supporting communities affected by flooding in Emilia-Romagna on May 16 and 17, 2023. This site was built in just one day and updated continuously every day. The Panificio Mobile aimed to distribute free bread and baked goods to flood-affected populations and supplied nine Civil Protection canteens.
    • Career Growth: I started my journey with smaller tasks, such as updating websites and creating marketing materials. As my skills developed, I was given more opportunities to get involved in product development and research, moving from support roles to making real contributions. Over time, I became an integral part of shaping projects, where I wasn’t just following directions but had the chance to lead and build products from the ground up. Eventually, I found myself managing entire projects, mentoring interns, and guiding them through the process, while steadily growing into a leadership position within my team.
    • Quick Learner and Problem Solver: When an important project required both UI/UX expertise and Flutter development and all the developers were busy with other tasks, I stepped up and took full responsibility for the project. With my background in Swift UI, in just two weeks, I mastered Flutter, delivering not only the design but also the code. It was a fast-paced, intense learning experience, but one that highlighted my adaptability and problem-solving skills.

Disclaimer: Consistent Design for Brand Cohesion

The design style across the projects in this portfolio follows a strategic decision to ensure visual consistency and maintain a cohesive brand identity. Adhering to strict brand guidelines in typography, color, and layout ensures that each project aligns with the company’s established aesthetic. This approach preserves brand integrity, ensuring a unified and recognizable presence across all platforms.

Since this portfolio showcases only internal projects, it reflects the design standards set by the organization while demonstrating my contributions within those parameters.

Team Organization & Management is a tool for companies to manage field teams, plan resources, and digitalize their processes.

products

is a versatile tool for managing teams, tasks, and resources across projects. It streamlines daily operations with drag-and-drop task allocation and real-time issue management. For long-term planning, TOM provides a Gantt chart to oversee projects, assign teams, and prioritize tasks. Its reporting features help track progress, optimize resources, and align departments like HR and finance.

In my role, I conducted in-depth UX research to tailor the platform to users’ needs. We collaborated with a test client, running surveys with field workers to design intuitive features like time tracking and resource planning, improving efficiency and reducing errors.

is a digital solution that centralizes multimedia content (stories, videos, images) to highlight the creative assets of a region. It aims to support local economies by engaging with community practitioners and telling their stories through a dynamic digital hub, helping foster sustainable growth.

In my role, I was responsible for redesigning key backend components of the CKP, including enhancing the user experience for adding and managing projects. This involved improving the process of linking projects to users, streamlining functionality to make it more intuitive and scalable. While the platform’s initial design was in place when I joined, I optimized specific areas to improve workflow efficiency and usability.

Many hackathons have been organized to inspire youth engagement and innovation. One of the events that particularly inspired me was titled “Tracce di innovazione sono segni di futuro.”

This hackathon engaged students aged 16 to 18 from the Val Camonica region, fostering collaboration and innovation as they presented solutions to real-world challenges. This event included training seminars and workshops to prepare participants for developing their business ideas.

During the project, I was responsible for organizing the preparatory phase of the hackathon. I coordinated the seminars, managed content planning and logistics for the virtual events, and collaborated with mentors who guided the young participants. Additionally, I contributed to the implementation of the TRusT™/CK platform, which was used for candidate selection and showcasing the business ideas developed by the students.

Threeminutes

is an innovative microblogging platform tailored for creators and professionals to share concise content in formats like text, video, or podcasts. Perfect for creators looking to connect deeply with their audience or for trainers offering bite-sized tips, Threeminutes bridges the gap between rich content and fast consumption, making engagement seamless and meaningful.

As the UX/UI designer for this project, I played a crucial role in designing an intuitive, user-friendly interface. I began by researching competitors and analyzing user needs, focusing on features that would streamline content creation and interaction. This included developing a clean, flexible layout for uploading various media formats and simplifying how users manage and interact with their content feed. We integrated feedback from internal testers and creators, ensuring the platform felt effortless to use, especially for those juggling multiple pieces of short-form content daily. By iterating on design elements like content discovery, tagging, and notification systems, we fine-tuned the experience to meet professional needs while maximizing user engagement.

Gameo

is an engaging gamification platform designed specifically to enhance motivation and collaboration in the workplace. Through interactive challenges, personalized goals, and reward systems, it helps colleagues connect, work towards shared objectives, and stay motivated.

As the UI/UX designer, I led the effort to create an intuitive and enjoyable user experience, ensuring that the platform could be easily adopted by all team members, regardless of their technical skills.
To refine the platform, I conducted extensive research on existing workplace gamification tools, analyzing their strengths and weaknesses. Based on this analysis, I designed a user interface that was both visually appealing and functional. I also collaborated closely with colleagues during the development process, collecting real-time feedback to improve key features, like the way users track their progress or interact with team members. This research and iterative feedback loop allowed us to implement Gameo seamlessly into our company’s daily workflow, where it became a valuable tool for boosting engagement and fostering team collaboration.

TotemApp

is a mobile application that simplifies the daily reporting of activities across multiple projects, tailored specifically for employees. It’s user-friendly, intuitive, and easily accessible via smartphone, making it convenient for teams to log their work and track progress.

I led the UI/UX redesign of TotemApp, transitioning it from a similar office software we had previously used to a mobile-first solution. My redesign process was based on feedback from colleagues who had struggled with the old system’s complexity.

The goal was to make daily reporting as straightforward as possible, improving the workflow by focusing on core features like time tracking and project updates. The new interface was designed to be simple and clean, eliminating unnecessary steps and creating a more efficient experience. The app now allows employees to manage their reporting tasks on the go with minimal effort.
